This year we have 28 women that bowl in our league.  There are eight teams that make up the roster.  We are U.S.B.C. sanctioned and our local sanction is USBC Ford City WBA.     Through the sanction, you can earn various awards.  There are some changes in the award system which enables you to earn some different awards that were not available before.  Good luck to everyone.  Hope you earn lots of those sanction awards.

 We would like to welcome our new bowler this year. She is Violet Redmond.  We started the 2008-2009 season on Monday, August 25th.  We have a fun night on the last night of bowling.  Hope everyone has a good time and remember --- BOWLING IS FUN!!!  Good luck to everyone for a season filled with new goals and accomplishments. 

This year we have six bowlers going to the USBC Womens National Tournament in Reno, Nevada.  Ther are Alessa Shaffer, Wendy Headley, Meghen Smietana, Mary Miller, Denise Rupert and Linda Shaffer. Good Luck to all.
